It's Cover Reveal Day!!

Wow, hello! Long time know see (write?). Did I start this newsletter, send one email, and then accidentally ghost it? Yes, yes I did, IM SORRY. I am not always the best with the follow through, but I am trying! At least you know for sure you will never be spanned with newsletter emails from me, haha!

But I am back today finally with the COOLEST email ever, aka the cover reveal! AND pre-order links as well!! 😱😱

The one thing I was 100% adamant about, and one of the reasons I actually wanted to go indie so I had full control, was having a fat girl on the cover. And seeing a fat girl on a fantasy cover? It brings my heart a type of joy I don’t think I can even fully, properly express 🥹 And my cover artist drew her so beautifully.

Are you ready? I don’t know if you’re ready.

I went back and forth with having just Kenna, or Kenna and her love interest on the cover, and at the end of the day yes this is a romance, but this is KENNA’S story. (And also it’s twice as expensive to have two characters, lol). I really love the surge of historical monster romance covers going around - where they look like that oil painting style a lot of historical romance covers have which I think are just so gorgeous. So those are the vibes I went for with my cover! My cover illustrator @caspian_interactive just absolutely killed it!! The flow of the dress and the hair? The castle up on the cliff? The way she’s looking out towards the horizon? And peep the mermaid tail on the back flap of the dust jacket? Absolutely SLAYS me.

Combined with the the cover design from @azura.arts and this is fully the cover of my absolute dreams. And Azura not only did the cover design for the dust jacket, but she designed the naked cover as well and it is SO gorgeous. The way it looks like sunlight shining through water? The crown on the back? The design of the quote on the front?

I couldn’t have even dreamed of a more beautiful cover. I am truly obsessed, I stare at it all the time, and I’m SO GLAD I can scream about it to you all now! Prepare to be sick of me, honestly 😂

And now we come to the best part of the email 😉 Pre-order links!! That’a right, its available for pre-order already!! 😍😍 And I have a whole plethora of options for you to choose from!!

The first option is purchasing the paperback or hardcover from my website, where you can get it signed and personalized if you want to!

And I don’t know every independent book store it’s available from, but it is already available from one of my favorites, and my local romance focused indie store, Meet Cute Romance Bookshop!

And of course it is available from the three major US retailers as well!! (unfortunately it is not showing up on international bookseller chains like Indigo, or Waterstones 😭)

And finally, I would love it so much if you could add it as want to read on Goodreads! The more shelves it’s put on, the more visibility it gets! And especially as an inside author, the success of my book hinges on word of mouth and getting it seen by as many people as possible!
